Seward Co-op seeks a Cheese Cutter to start immediately. This is a full-time position and will include flexible evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain cheese, olive and cracker displays
• Provide attentive and courteous customer service
• Promote cheese through attractive signage, written articles and customer service.
• Cutting / Wrapping
• Receive and stock orders
• Cut, wrap, and package cheeses to fill case and back-stock
• Follow safe food handling guidelines
• Work with Shift Coordinator to assist in the daily workflow
• Participate in departmental and storewide meetings and trainings
• Participate in departmental inventories and projects
Qualifications:
• Self motivated, organized, responsible, flexible
• Quick, efficient cutting/packaging skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Interest and knowledge of cheese
• Able to work well in a team to achieve departmental goals
• Interested in customer service and natural foods
• English proficiency
